and it stemmed from trying to draw musicians just by listening to their music, no visual reference whatsoever, save memory. I’ll post those soon enough. This pic, however, is from an offshoot of the original idea. I’m a big fan of Van Halen (David Lee Roth era only) and thought it would be more entertaining to me to draw them as cartoon kid versions of themselves. So, here is Li’l Eddie Van Halen. Done in Photoshop with a Wacom.
